Maxon Nine Series TOD-9 True Tube Overdrive
Based around a Subminiature Mil-spec tube running at 30 VDC, the TOD-9 uses a unique "pre-tube" circuit configuration that cascades the tube output into a solid-state distortion circuit. The result is a warm yet powerful guitar tone that is incredibly interactive with the player's performance, much like a hard-working tube-amp.
