Jacques created the TB-2 in order to solve the problems he and so many other players have had with the classic TS808 Tube Screamer. The result is an overdrive that can emulate the hallowed TS808 tone while simultaneously providing an extended Gain range and additional Bass and Treble boost. The TB-2 excels at preserving the original tone of the guitar used as well as the sound of the amp its plugged into.
The Low control provides the hump and authority of a full volume stack. The High control allows you to tune your overdrive tone according to taste, letting you cut through any loud band gig. Unique to the TB-2, the Drive control runs from Clean boost to fully saturated Overdrive by using a varied combination of analog clipping circuitry. The Level control determines overall volume of the effect and will cause the TB-2 to react differently depending on the setting used.
